BITmarkets Academy will process Your Personal Data lawfully, fairly and in transparent manner (“lawfulness, fairness and transparency”) in adequate, relevant and limited extent necessary in relation to purposes (“data minimization”).

• We process the email address you provided us through the form on the website for the purpose of sending you newsletter email.

• The newsletter contents the information about the most important news on our website or other relevant information about the market.

Query by the email or website

• We process your name, email address, telephone number and possibly other data that you want to communicate to us via the inquiry form or via email for the purposes of contacting you, as well as for the purpose of processing your question or inquiries in order to carry out other activities in connection with your question, request or inquiry.

• The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in running proper services of and providing client support.

Device data, Logs, Website Usage

• We process your Personal data obtained from your use of the website, for the purposes of providing, improving, and optimizing the operation of the website, to increase the comfort of their use, to provide technical support for the website, analytical and statistical evaluation of the use of the website. We further process the data for the detection and prevention of abuse of the website (including prevention of fraud, security incidents and other similar activities), risk assessment and fulfillment of legal obligations.

Regardless of all our measures, it is necessary to keep in mind that the transmission of data over the public Internet network or any electronic data storage cannot be 100% secure.

• The Right to access.

You have the right to be provided a copy of the personal information we have about you, as well as information about how we use your personal information. In most cases, your personal information will be provided electronically, unless otherwise requested.

If you believe that we are processing your personal data unfairly or unlawfully or violating applicable law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, if applicable in your country of residence or with Lituanian State Data Protection Inspectorate, L. • Right to object to profiling

We do not make decisions about you based solely on an automated process (e.g. through automatic profiling).
